CHICAGO, IL, February 5, 2008 -- MAS Consulting is proud to announce that Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 has shipped!  The launch of CRM 4.0 will allow MAS to bring more value and quality to our customers.  This newest release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM gives an outstanding user experience, ease of use and configuration, and outstanding platform technology that power this high-quality customer relationship management for any type of business. 

A CRM Launch Event for customers will be taking place at the Microsoft Office in Downers Grove on April 3rd, 2008.  More information regarding this event is coming soon! 

Much of the excitement surrounding the release of CRM 4.0 comes with its many new and improved features:

  • Installation
    • Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 offers several editions – Workgroup, Professional, and Enterprise – that cover many implementations regardless of organization size
    • Deployment works on a single license key which makes adding licenses simple
    • Reports and customizations from CRM 3.0 are upgraded for use with the new 4.0 version
  • Configuration
    • With the multilingual interface, it is now possible to have more than one language for the interface in a single installation
    • CRM 4.0 Enterprise Edition can support multiple organizations (multi-tenancy) on a single CRM server which makes managing data and resources more effective
    • CRM 4.0 allows for financial transactions to be entered in multiple currencies
  • CRM for Outlook and Business Applications
    • Improved synchronization of CRM with Outlook
    • Synchronization of data taken offline and can occur in the background which can ensure up-to-date information every time it is taken offline
    • New Report Wizard allows users to create more thorough custom reports
    • Can integrate seamlessly with other Microsoft Dynamics ERP solutions
  • Workflow
    • Workflows are now available to end users, who now do not need to access the server in order to generate, alter, and supervise them and now support more record types
  • Customization
    • Can now create system-to-system, many-to-many, and self referential relationships
    • Customizations are now easier to import and export than ever
